On September 9, Asia Pacific Day was held at Frederiksberg City Hall.
Asia Pacific Day is organised by the diplomatic missions of 10 Asia Pacific countries; Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam in cooperation with Frederiksberg Kommune. This year's event was the second in succession, the first having been held last year at Copenhagen City Hall.
Guests filled the venue as soon as it opened, and on the stage performers representing each country entertained everyone with performances such as dance, music and martial arts.
For Japan, an aikido demonstration was given on the stage. There was also an area dedicated to tea ceremony demonstration, a booth where guests could enjoy Japanese foods and traditional Japanese crafts such as calligraphy and origami, as well as a childrens' game of fishing yo-yo water balloons.
