We hereby invite you to a kimono show by the famous Kimono dresser Ms. Aiko Imaizumi! She will be showing a large and varied selection of exquisite kimonos while explaining the traditional Japanese dress and the correct way of putting them on. The show also contains a surprise-event!
If You love Kimonos-or want to know more about them- we highly recommend that You come to the show!
There will be three shows:
The first is Wednesday 10 Feb. at 19.00.
It will take place at the Drop-Inn Café, Aktivcentret i Gladsaxe (Telefonvej 8, 2860 Søborg).
Capacity: about 30 people*.
· The second is Thursday 11 Feb. at 18.00.
It will take place at the culture center of the Embassy of Japan (Pilestræde 61, 1112 Kbh. K).
Capacity: about 30 people*.
· The third kimono show will be on Friday 12 Feb. at 15.00.
It will take place at Danish Museum of Art and Design (Kunstindustrimuseet) Bredgade 68, 1260 Kbh. K
Capacity: about 100 people*.
*Because of the capacity of the venues, we primarily recommend attending the show at the Museum of Arts and Design.
Models wanted!
Ms. Aiko Imaizumi will need 4 female models for each show to wear the kimonos. This will first of all be a good opportunity for a fun memory, but there will also be a small thank-you present.
Requirements:
-Under 165 cm.
-Hair down to the shoulders.
-Under 60 years old.
If you want to be a kimono model, please send information about yourself and which day you prefer to model, along with a picture to info@ch.mofa.go.jp by 3 Feb. at the latest.
