On 10 December 2008 at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence Mr. Otto Hee, Chairman of Toyota-Fonden, was conferred with the Japanese Decoration.
The conferment attributes to Mr. Hee’s endeavours through many years to promote exchanges between Japan and Denmark in the fields of trade and culture. At first as Managing Director of a Danish company Mr. Hee imported (as the very first importer in Europe) and sold Japanese automobiles in Denmark and later as Chairman of Toyota-Fonden provided numbers of generous supports to cultural as well as social projects, often related to Japan.
