日本・デンマーク外交関係樹立150周年記念ホームページをご覧の皆様、
2017年、日本がデンマークと修好通商航海条約を締結した1867年からちょうど150周年を迎えます。両国は、世界でも歴史の長い皇室・王室を有する国ということもあり、長きにわたり友好関係を育んできました。この節目の年に、日本とデンマークの両国において多くの記念事業が行われる予定です。
デンマークにおいては、2017年1月に実施された開幕式典を皮切りに、1年を通じ、文化のみならず政治・経済・学問・スポーツ等、幅広い分野で交流事業が予定されています。官民を問わず、両国の多くの方々の参加により、人と人との交流が促進され、これを契機に両国の関係が更に深まった次の未来が開けてゆくことを願っております。
この外交関係樹立150周年を記念して,周年事業・行事のための公式ロゴも決定されました。このロゴは、デンマーク人デザイナーと日本人デザイナーのコラボレーションによって生まれたものです。この公式ロゴを150周年に関連した事業・行事にご使用頂きますと、このホームページのイベント・カレンダーに掲載されることとなります。事業の認定申請手続きについてはこちらをご覧下さい。

"Communication Beyond Words"
The exhibition showing the result of the collaboration work between Denmark and Japan will take place from 15th to 22nd of November.
The exhibition will show you the discussion process over the 3 themes of bilateral architectural competition between 3 Japanese architects and 3 Danish architects, which took place in summer.
All the proposals gathered from all over Japan and Denmark will be displayed, especially focusing on the winners of the 3 competitions.

Description: “Skyggen(The Shadow) – A Chamber Opera by Aya Yoshida” is a collaborative project between artists from Denmark and Japan celebrating the 150th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Denmark-Japan. The Copenhagen-based Japanese composer Aya Yoshida has written the music and libretto for this chamber opera. It is inspired by the original fairy tale “The Shadow (Skyggen)”, written in 1847 by the famous Danish author H.C. Andersen. The visual part of the performance is created by the Danish artist Magnus Pind Bjerre and the Japanese calligrapher Suitou Nakatsuka.

4th year architecture- and design students will work on a project about collapsible furniture. 1st of February they will travel to Kyoto and exhibit at the KIT (Kyoto Institute of Technology) In Kyoto. A group of Japanese design students will visit Copenhagen in November 16 and join a workshop with Danish students conducted by associate professor Keita Tatara from KIT. Both Japanese and Danish students will work on the same project and exhibit together in Kyoto. The project will be informed by a series of lectures about Japanese craft, design and culture.
