Autumn 2020 Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals

The Government of Japan has decided to confer decorations on 141 foreign nationals as Autumn 2020 Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals.
Among them, Mr. Bertel Haarder, Member of the Danish Parliament, Former Minister for Culture and Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs, receives “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star” in recognition of his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and friendly relations between Japan and Denmark as well as to promoting parliamentary relations between Japan and the EU.
