Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program
Government of Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), offers scholarships to foreign students who wish to study in Japan.There are two types of Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program for Danish nationals:
(1) Japanese Studies (for students who currently major in Japanese studies at their universities)
(2) Research Student (for students who wish to further pursue their study at graduate schools in Japan)

Japan Foundation support Program
Japan Foundation is an incorporated administrative agency derived from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Japan Foundation offers support programs categorized under the three main pillars.
(1) Arts and Cultural Exchange
(2) Japanese-Language Education Overseas
(3) Japanese Studies Overseas and Intellectual Exchange
Embassy of Japan in Denmark is a receiving office for the Japan Foundation Support Program application from Denmark. Call for application starts around October every year, and the deadline is early December for the projects scheduled in the upcoming fiscal year of April - March.
