   On 15 January, State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan ODAWARA Kiyoshi addressed at the 12th Session of International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

“While there is no single path toward decarbonization, Japan, in cooperation with IRENA, will encourage realistic global energy transitions by focusing on the following three initiatives”

1. technology for power system management
2. utilization of fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia, and establishment of an international supply chain for these fuels
3. efforts toward transparent and fair governance of critical mineral resource supply chains
