Conferment Ceremony in honour of Ms. Lizzi Jensen, Former Chairperson of Faaborg/Midtfyn-Noboribetsu Friendship Association

   On 8 June, Ambassador UYAMA Hideki hosted at his residence the conferment ceremony in honour of Ms. Lizzi Jensen, Former Chairperson of Faaborg/Midtfyn-Noboribetsu Friendship Association.
 
   Ms. Lizzi Jensen was awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” in recognition of her contribution to enhancing interregional exchanges through promoting friendship-city exchanges between Faaborg/Midtfyn and Noboribetsu City in Hokkaido. Her family and friends gathering at the ceremony warmly congratulated her on the conferment of the decoration. Mayor of Noboribetsu City, Mr. Ogasawara has sent a congratulatory message to her.
