Ambassador Uyama and Japanese Business Representatives Visited Greenland

From November 6th to 10th, Ambassador UYAMA Hideki visited Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, for the first time, together with Mr. TAKAHASHI Shoichiro, Country Representative for Sweden, General Manager Stockholm Liaison Representative, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Mr. AIKAWA Tomohiko, General Manager, Corporate Planning Department, Mitsui & Co. Deutschland GmbH. The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibilities of business cooperation between Japan and Greenland in various sectors. It was a meaningful visit with 16 meetings held with H.E. Vivian Motzfeldt, Minister for Independence and Foreign Affairs, H.E. Kalistat Lund, Minister for Agriculture, Self-Sufficiency, Energy and Environment, and other high-ranking officials of the Government of Greenland, business community members, academic researchers, and others.
