Emperor’s Birthday Reception 2024

On Wednesday 21^st of February, Ambassador UYAMA Hideki hosted the Emperor’s Birthday Reception at his Residence. After the National Anthems performed by Ms. Noriko Serizawa, Ms. Michiko Suzuki and Ms. Mayumi Naruko, the Ambassador delivered a speech, making remarks on the recent developments of Japan-Denmark relations and international situations. More than 180 people from the Danish Government, business community, cultural and academic circles and diplomatic corps attended the reception. The Embassy also did promotion of scallops from Hokkaido as well as Japanese sake and shochu on this occasion.
