English Rakugo Performance

    On November 19, Ambassador UYAMA Hideki hosted an English Rakugo event at his residence in cooperation with Ichirin, Koraku and Yuntaku from the English Rakugo Association.
    Rakugo is a traditional Japanese art of entertaining storytelling with over 400 years’ history. The English Rakugo Association was established in 2020 to spread Rakugo in English to the world.
   Many members of the diplomatic corps in Denmark attended this event, and enjoyed the world of Rakugo brought by the three talented performers with full of laughter.
