Conferment Ceremony in honour of Dr. Yoichi Nagashima, Professor Emeritus of the University of Copenhagen

On June 24, Ambassador UYAMA Hideki hosted the ceremony of conferment of the decoration upon Dr. Yoichi Nagashima, Professor Emeritus of the University of Copenhagen at his residence.
Dr. Nagashima was awarded “The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays” in recognition of his significant contributions to promoting academic and cultural exchanges between Japan and Denmark. His former students and friends gathering for the ceremony warmly congratulated him on the conferment of the decoration.
