Reception on Japan–Denmark Cooperation in Life Sciences

On 25 August, Ambassador Uyama hosted a reception at the Ambassador's Residence to celebrate Japan-Denmark cooperation in life sciences and healthcare.
The reception was held with the participation of more than 30 representatives from companies, public-private partnerships and other organisations on the occasion of the visit by a Japanese delegation to Denmark organised by the Royal Danish Embassy in Japan. The Danish Ambassador to Japan, H.E. Mr. Jarl Frijs-Madsen also attended. The event provided a valuable platform for dialogue and networking.
Life sciences and healthcare are one of the key pillars of cooperation between Japan and Denmark, as detailed in the Joint Strategic Work Programme announced in October 2023. Japan and Denmark are committed to deepening their collaboration to create innovative solutions to shared challenges such as ageing populations and healthcare needs.
