Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025

On August 28th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan announced the names of 173 individuals and 58 groups who will be awarded the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025. Maestro Toshiyuki Kamioka, Honorary Conductor of the Copenhagen Phil will be awarded the Commendation in recognition of his significant contributions to international cultural exchange through music. Ms. Eimi Watanabe, former UN Assistant Secretary General and Director of the Bureau for Development Policy of UNDP, will be awarded the Commendation in recognition of her significant contributions to international cooperation for many years.
