Ambassador’s Visit to NKT Photonics and Exchange of Views with CEO of the Company

On 12 September 2025 Ambassador Uyama visited NKT Photonics, a leading high-tech company with the world’s most advanced fiber laser technologies. He listened to presentations by Mr. Basil Garabet, CEO, and other senior management members on products of the company as well as the impact of synergies with Hamamatsu Photonics following its acquisition of NKT Photonics which was approved by the Danish government in May last year. They exchanged views on applications of Hamamatsu and NKT Photonics’ cutting-edge technologies in quantum, defense industry, and other fields.
