Conferment of the Certificate of Commendation by the Ambassador of Japan to Ms Kazuko Mayer

On 20 September 2018, Ambassador Toshiro Suzuki hosted at his residence the conferment ceremony in honour of Ms Kazuko Mayer, who was awarded with the Certificate of Commendation by the Ambassador of Japan. Ms Kazuko Mayer, advisor to Den Japanske Forening i Danmark and one of the key figures in organising the Copenhagen Sakura Festival, was awarded for her contributions to the Japanese community in Denmark, the Copenhagen Sakura Festival, the Japanese language education in Denmark as well as the promotion of the relations between Japan and Denmark.
