Exchange of Views on Denmark's Employment and Social Systems
2025/10/9
On October 9, Ambassador Uyama hosted an exchange of views at the Ambassador’s Residence with a delegation from the Kansai Productivity Centre, a public interest incorporated foundation.
The discussion focused on Denmark’s employment and social systems as well as business efficiency.
Participants included Ms. Yuka Harikai, authour of “Why Can Danes Leave Work at 4 O’Clock and Still Get Results?”, along with two Japanese business leaders working in Denmark.
The session provided a valuable opportunity for an open exchange on the differences and similarities between Japanese and Danish systems and working styles, allowing participants to learn strengths of the two nations.
It also served as a meaningful occasion to further deepen mutual understanding and strengthen ties between Japan and Denmark.
