Reception on Japan–Denmark Quantum Collaboration

On November 12, Ambassador Uyama hosted a reception at the Ambassador's Residence, aiming to further strengthen cooperation between Japan and Denmark in quantum science and technologies.
On the occasion of the visit by a Japanese delegation on quantum science and technology to Denmark, initiated by the Royal Danish Embassy in Japan, over 50 representatives from Japanese and Danish governments, businesses, and research institutions participated in the reception.
Following Ambassador Uyama’s opening address, Deputy Tech Ambassador Ms. Ditte Bjerregaard delivered a speech on behalf of Denmark, while Dr. Sogawa, Program Director of the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) at the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan, made remarks on behalf of the Japanese delegation. The event provided an invaluable platform for lively dialogue and networking among experts and stakeholders.
