I am conducting a comparative analysis of Danish and Japanese strategies for the development of carbon credits through Joint implementation projects in Russia and Ukraine under the Kyoto Protocol. I visited Japan for the first time as a high school exchange student in 1998, and my working life is devoted to the promotion of mutual understanding between Denmark and Japan which I believe may find inspiration in each other in so many areas.
