The time schedule of the application procedure is as follows:

19 June 2017 (confirmed): Deadline for universities to send their student's application documents to Danish Agency for International Education .

26 June 2017 (confirmed): Applicants must take Japanese language written exam, English language written exam and interview on the same day.
Date of the written exam and interview could be re-scheduled.  Applicants will be informed of the exact date and time.

The first selection result will be sent out by post 1-2 days after the interview date.

Because it is a summer vacation season, the date of the exams and interview may be changed, but they will be conducted by the end of July. Applicants will be informed of the exact time and date later.

For your information, the Japanese Embassy will issue a certificate to the applicant who passed the exams and interview. The applicant should contact universities he/she would like to be enrolled in order to ask for the letter of acceptances. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) will conduct the second screening in Tokyo and decide, with taking consideration of the wishes of the applicant who pass the first screening, the university which he/she will be enrolled. If the MEXT will not be able to find the university which is willing to accept the candidate, that applicant will not be a recipient of this scholarship program. Details are described in the above-mentioned guideline.
