Reception to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan

On 20 February, the Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Denmark hosted the reception to celebrate the 60th birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador. His Excellency, Mr. Michael Ehrenreich, Lord Chamberlain and so many distinguished guests participated and expressed felicitations from the Danish government and private sectors, the diplomatic corps and so on.
The reception was opened by Ambassador Manabu Miyagawa. Mr. Niels Nygaard, President of National Olympic and Paralympic Committee of Denmark made a congratulatory address in spirit of working together towards the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. All the participants sung together the national anthems of Japan and Denmark along the music played by the Danish musical band “Sun Day Karma”.
The Embassy of Japan reiterates the deepest gratitude for joining the celebration for the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.
