The following new border measures below will be implemented from 0:00 AM (JST) on 11 October, 2022.
• Visa will no longer be required for Danish citizens for short-term stays up to 90 days.
• Foreign nationals entering Japan for a short–term stay for tourism will no longer be limited to package tours.
• On-arrival testing will no longer be required (except for passengers showing Covid-19 symptoms on arrival). Triple vaccinated passengers will continue to be exempt from the requirement to show a negative pre-departure test result.
• Applications to the Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS) through receiving organizations are no longer required.

Visa Application:
The government of Japan announced to ease restrictions on new entry of foreign nationals for short stay in Japan.The following new border measures below will be implemented from 0:00 AM (JST) on 11 October, 2022.
• Visa will no longer be required for Danish citizens for short-term stays up to 90 days.
